Tsunami may come in Philippines anytime

People of the Philippines should know that yesterday we experienced a “MINI-TSUNAMI” particularly in Cebu area yesterday. God is gracious to us that it was not huge Tsunami, kundi Dumageute and Cebu Island we’re the first experienced worst tragedy. What if the tsunami rose to at least 1 meter then we have another Japan experience in Philippines. This is just my opinion from the Fishermans perfective. We have 5 fishing boat navigate in Northern Mindanao sea so at least I know how to calculate the impact of 1 meter high wave plush 1 meter high tide, that’s equivalent to 2 meters high in all in first wave, then we will multiply this into 5 to 10 waves, imagine how high the flood in near seashore. The tsunami yesterday was just almost 1 feet high but later after 5 waves it flooded to almost 1 meter. This is dangerous; tsunami wave should not be treated according to their height but also the number of waves plus the height and current that would measure how high flood would accumulate. In tsunami, it is not only the waves that kill but also the flood that wave brings. The speed and current of flood that will destroy properties “DEBRIES” may be the killer of those who’ll able to survive tsunami.  


let's learn the lessons of Japan's tragedy last year; the series of low and high Earthquake may weaken onshore fault lines that may create to possible landslide and eventually into tsunami. May appeal to every Filipino treat every Earthquake as if tsunami comes, and be prepared and cooperative with the authorities when it comes to evacuation plan? Last year March 2011, tsunami occurred in Japan that results to thousands lives was lost, this is because of the results of multi-earthquakes before the the tsunami occurred. Every tsunami we should put in our mind that the next to that maybe tsunami aside from thinking of possible fires and electric shock.





People in the Philippines specially those fellow fishermen, please make your own evacuation plan for fishermen and their family. If possible build a high tower “earth quake proof” for evacuation if you are far from the elevated area. This is just my opinion and precaution.


 People of God should be the first to know and be educated in terms of safety measure. The God that will protect us is the same God that gives us wisdom and knowledge to protect ourselves from the incoming calamities. God bless us all.

Tips on How to survive from Tsunami and Flash Flood

               I noticed that there is no body gives us tips on how to survive on the currents of flood, since Philippines is a  country. Last night, as I watched the News, I saw a woman swept away  from the flood in Isabela. I think of myself, in my personal evaluation she has a very slim chances of surviving on the water based on how she position herself. Therefore, I am passionate to share my personal experiences on how I survived on different hydro currents. I was able to cross with about 200 meters distance with one-meter high waves, with extra ordinary under current when I was about four year old.
