During the Senate hearing ; Medio Cruz did not attend due to his excuse “Freedom of Expression” claimed by his lawyer. Freedom of Expression is the legal term used to protect him and find his ways not to be responsible of the hearing. However, this act is simple saying that Church lost it's freedom against expression by giving M. Cruz a freedom not be part of Senate hearing. This sounds claiming absolute freedom of expression as what I have unerstood. This case is not isolated case of Medio Cruz allegedly facing charges from Roman Catholic laymen’s group due to blasphemous art works at CCP but this extend to all kinds of EXPRESSIONS that basically MEDIA rights has been challenged. Therefore what media can do is to protect their so called rights, which our legislators have been deceived. The exemption of Medio Cruz to report on Senate is the picture of biased and one sided decision that mostly favoured to Rights of Expressions over Religious rights. There is no problem with freedom...
