"Badjangon" The Only Cold Spring by the Beach in Philippines

By: Rev. Jesse Amiel A. Ramoso

Swimming in this beach gives you a unique experience: You will feel double temperature water and it's natural and together with exciting waves and natural beauty. When you are in the sea you feel the cold water on the top and under water is warm. This will provide a natural healing for the body, specially if you are stressed.
Kini lang ang naghiusang Cold Spring by the Beach so far in the Philippines. You just drill your one meter tube then water comes out even in the shore or up to one hundred meter away from shore. This is one of the natural treasure which is trampled underfoot.

This is the only beach cold spring that you don't need to refregirate your drinks to get cold, just put it in the spring then after 30 minutes it's cold already.
If you can't afford to rent cottage, you just climb on trees for free.

You can take shower for free...

Our government cannot interven this private property but this does not mean we don't have law that would give us a way and access to save this natural resources to be preserve. If Mall of Asia was formerly own by government property by reclaiming the marine land so same with this area. If we're able to reclaim Pantalan area by putting wave barreir much more in Badjangon. Our former house was in near by Pantalan "Tumoy sa Rizal St.", when our house was washed out by the wave we transfered to Lunao, now the area becomes government property. Same thing cguro in Badjangon, maybe we "Government" can reclaim the area.

Some part of Badjangon spring is owned by the government through marine area, sea area"picture above", this is potential for developing for tourism. Gingoog City is one of the riches in natural resources, we have 61 water falls, cold springs and beaches, however this is not been developed. Therefore Gingoog city remains poor, because this is not a commercial area, this is agricultural land and mostly residential. We aren't doing good on our agriculture so where we can get our income? Tourism is one of the potentail advantgae for this city. However, like in Badjangon we don't have a proper waste dispossals, security and beauty for the place that would attract local and international tourist. This place is proven good, even local Gingoognon patronizing this place but sad to say they don't have a heart to help this place clean, developed and secured.

If we fail to love our invironment, then we fail to love back the crator"God". This is unfair for God's side because, He loved us. His love does not only saved us from hell but also provided us a natural resources where we can enjoy and get healing and restoration of our physical, emotional social and mental health. In Quezon city, you need to pay Php 500 intrance to enjoy water spa, here in Badjangon it's for free. It's free means no body pays for it, Yes Badjangon is free cold spring; there must be somebody pay the price. The sorrounding gets the price to pay by destroying himself. What we did is a self destruction for Badjangon cold spring, then the free cold spring that we enjoy today we never exist tomorrow.

We cannot blame the government, we cannot blame the owner of this land but we can blame ourselves because of throwing garbage and improper garbage disposals. I hope and pray that this place will be develop and it will start on proper disposals of garbage and human waste.
